Terms of use

The service

HumanDoc rewrites prose in Word documents (.docx) and returns a clean document, a document with tracked changes and a review report. Formatting and protected document elements are preserved. You can accept or reject edits in Word.

Review your result

Rewriting can shift meaning or omit details. We check rewritten passages and flag significant factual changes for your review; omissions and passages that may be incomplete are described in the report. Review the result before using it. We do not guarantee that every factual change will be detected or that a document will achieve an AI-detection score.

Document limits

Upload one .docx file of up to 25 MB. Headings, front matter, references, captions, quotations, declarations, tables and fields stay unchanged. Paragraphs containing live fields, hyperlinks, comments, equations, drawings or content controls are also preserved. Convert citation fields to plain text in a copy of your document if you want those paragraphs rewritten.

Words and charges

The pricing page explains the free allowance and prepaid plans. You see a word estimate before starting. Completed jobs are charged for source words actually processed, including passages flagged as potentially incomplete. Failed or timed-out jobs are not charged.
